Title: Facilities Manager - Client Side
Location: Dublin 2 (Site Based Role)
Salary: €70,000 - €75,000 per annum + bonus + 15% pension + health + other perks
The Company:
One of Ireland's leading property groups with a property portfolio that comprises office and retail assets. This private company has been in operation for over 50 years and is responsible for some of Ireland's most high profile developments.
The Role: Reporting to the Head of Property Management, the Estate Manager will work as a key member of the wider property management team. The portfolio consists of almost 1m sq ft in office and retail space.
Responsibilities
* The core focus of the role includes the day to day estate management including implementation of the overall management strategy, co-ordination of their team of building hosts, cleaners and general operatives together with procurement and oversight of specialist service partners while providing support and assistance to development, sustainability, asset management and finance functions.
* First point of contact for occupiers on all relevant facilities issues reporting e.g., air conditioning, maintenance issues etc. Leading the promotion and delivery of operational excellence in the portfolio.
* Responsible for all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) of plant and equipment.
* Assisting with the introduction of sustainability initiatives within the provision of building services.
* Liaise with the Buildings Supervisor on caretaking, cleaning and security reporting and actioning on a day-to-day basis.
* Working extensively with others on the team during building, refurbishments, maintenance etc.
* Budgeting, cost management and reporting across the portfolio, this includes; producing service charge budgets on a timely basis this includes monthly review and analysis of budget versus spend and preparing annual budgets.
Qualifications
* Third Level Qualification in Facilities Management or related area.
* Facilities management experience in commercial property is essential
* Proficient in using facilities management software, CAFM systems and Microsoft Office.
* Strong knowledge of building systems, codes and regulations.
* Experience of practical implementation of sustainability initiatives in similar environments an advantage
* Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and influence effectively
