Role Overview:
We are looking for a qualified solicitor with 3 years post-qualification experience (Minimum) who can manage a caseload involving
immigration law, criminal law, and general practice matters
. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong advocacy skills, a client-first attitude, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle immigration cases including asylum, visa applications, naturalisation, and deportation matters
* Represent clients in criminal matters at Criminal, District and Circuit Court level
* Manage general practice files such as family law, landlord & tenant, wills & probate, and litigation
* Provide clear, pragmatic legal advice to a diverse client base
* Attend court and liaise with clients, counsel, and third parties
* Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
* Qualified Solicitor in Ireland with 3 years PQE minimum
* Proven experience in immigration and criminal law is essential
* Strong background in general practice law
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently
* High level of professionalism, discretion, and empathy
* Fluency in a second language (particularly relevant to immigration practice) is an advantage
