Job Title: Store Manager
Main Purpose of the Role:
The primary objective of this role is to ensure that the store operates efficiently and effectively, providing exceptional customer service and a fresh food offering at all times. The successful candidate will deliver key store targets (sales and profitability) by effectively managing people and operations.
To achieve this, we require a highly motivated and experienced individual with a proven track record in retail management. The ideal candidate will have/be:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant retail management position
* An understanding of how to achieve KPIs and targets
* Strong knowledge and experience of reading and actioning reports
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
* A highly driven work ethic
* A passion for grocery retail
* The ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
Main Duties:
1. Embody the Centra brand values of Proud, Energetic, Imaginative, and Community-Based
2. Oversee and ensure the smooth operation of the store
3. Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets with the team on gross profit margin, net margin, waste, and other KPIs as agreed with the Store Owner
4. Implement planograms correctly and maintain the correct range in-store
5. Manage employee rostering and annual leave, maintaining accurate and secure records
6. Regularly engage with the Store Owner to discuss progress and goals
7. Ensure the merchandising and presentation of the entire store meet the highest standards at all times, adhering to relevant store planograms and guidelines
8. Foster good communication between employees and management in a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment
9. Efficiently and professionally deal with customer queries, consistent with store policy
10. Engage with new initiatives and embrace new ways of working
