The role sits atManaging Quantity Surveyor level, with responsibility for leading commercial teams, owning cost and risk across multiple live projects, and acting as the senior commercial interface with key stakeholders.It's a high-profile, stable pipeline of work in a complex, operational environment — well suited to someone looking for genuine senior-level responsibility rather than a single-project QS role.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the commercial delivery of a portfolio of major infrastructure projects at Dublin Port.Manage, mentor and develop commercial teams, ensuring strong governance, performance, and succession planning.Own cost/value reporting, forecasting, cashflow, WIP control and outturn cost management across all projects.Identify, manage and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities, driving margin improvement plans.Ensure robust contract administration, commercial compliance, and effective handling of variations, claims and client issues.Support work-winning activity where required, including tender input and client presentations.Act as the senior commercial interface with clients, project teams and senior leadership.Key SkillsDegree-qualified Quantity Surveyor (SCSI / RICS accredited); MRICS desirable.Strong leadership and people management experience within main contractor or infrastructure environments.Proven commercial expertise across large-scale construction or civil engineering projects.Excellent knowledge of standard forms of contract, measurement, project controls and programming principles.Commercially astute, confident managing risk, cashflow and complex stakeholder relationships.Strong IT capability across Microsoft Office and commercial reporting systems.Full driving licence and ability to work across live, operational project environments.INDETH-H
