Job Summary
We are looking for an Assistant Academic Manager who can combine academic judgement, people skills and operational awareness in a way that keeps standards high while supporting a positive and collaborative school culture.
You’ll be part of a fast-moving international environment supporting teachers, solving academic challenges, helping students succeed and contributing to the ongoing development of the schools academic direction. We want someone who is approachable but decisive, organised without being rigid, and genuinely invested in teacher development and student experience.
The right candidate will bring strong ELT knowledge, emotional intelligence, initiative and the confidence to lead from the front when needed. The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting teachers, coordinating academic programmes or working within an educational leadership role, and should demonstrate a strong understanding of ELT methodology, assessment and curriculum delivery. Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work confidently and collaboratively in a busy international environment. Applicants must also have the legal right to work in Ireland.
Experience with Trinity examinations, conducting teacher observations and delivering CPD sessions would be highly valued. Familiarity with quality assurance and compliance frameworks such as QQI, ACELS, Eaquals or TrustEd is also an advantage.

M.Ed. in TESOL / DELTA / Dip TESOL
