Clare, Ireland, and reporting to the Product Development Engineering Manager, the Associate Electronics Engineer will participate in projects from concept to post-production and work within a multi-disciplinary project team under the coordination of a Project Manager.

The Role
The Associate Electronics Engineer will have recently graduated and will work in one of our Spirometry project teams to help drive continuous roadmap delivery. Spirometry is a common office test used to assess how well your lungs work by measuring how much air you inhale, how much you exhale and how quickly you exhale. Spirometry is used to diagnose asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and other conditions that affect breathing.
The Team
The Spirometry team consists of hardware, mechanical and software engineers and the Associate Electronics Engineer will assist the team in finalising development activities within their area of background, namely electronics engineering.
Responsibilities
* Projects — Develops aspects of the development roadmap; ensures project artefacts (documentation) are delivered at each release point; conducts technical evaluation of competitors’ equipment; assists in the design and development of new products; assists in the maintenance of existing products.
* People — Operates in the project team in a cooperative, respectful manner; maintains a positive and motivating outlook; liaises with ex‑house consultants and agencies; liaison with R&D, Production, Materials, Quality, Sales and Marketing staff.
* Process — Assists in the delivery of engineering outcomes; ensures that all work and tasks carried out are compliant with our Quality Management System.
The Ideal Candidate
* Have a 3rd level degree, or equivalent, in Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
* Have a strong team ethic.
