Sales Manager (Ireland)

Lincoln are currently working with an international manufacturing business to recruit a Sales Leadership role. This role will have two direct reports & report into the Sales Director.
Regular travel is expected in this role throughout the island of Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver a clear regional sales strategy aligned with business goals.
* Drive sustainable growth in both volume and value.
* Collaborate with technical, commercial, operations, and design teams to achieve commercial and customer excellence.
* Manage the tender process, including contract renewals, negotiations, and pricing updates.
* Oversee accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and sales reporting.
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships, using insights and surveys to inform account plans.
* Support and challenge the team in preparing tenders, pitches, and customer proposals.
* Monitor and improve team performance through KPIs, reviews, and regular coaching.
* Ensure effective time planning, stock management, and adherence to service level agreements.
* Foster collaboration with other regional managers to share best practices.
* Stay updated on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
* Champion continuous improvement to deliver a market-leading customer experience.
* Celebrate team and individual successes through effective communication.
Experience & Background:
* Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
* 10+ years Sales experience including at least 3-5 years of managing a team.
* Experience within corrugated, packaging, carton board, flexible packaging, or print industries preferable.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
* Advanced negotiation and influencing skills.
