Community Centre Worker - Knockmitten Community Centre
Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
Job Description
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
This position is for 19.5 hours per week Monday‑Friday and rotational Saturdays. Flexibility is required to work mornings, afternoons, or evenings. Knockmitten Community Centre opening hours are: 9.00 am – 10.00 pm Mon‑Fri / 10.00 am – 1.30 pm Sat.
Duties
Carry out reception duties.
Answer the phone.
Take bookings.
Provide information on the Centre’s activities.
Meet and greet centre visitors.
Help and support children’s/seniors’ clubs and groups.
Assist in general cleaning and upkeep of the centre.
Any other tasks as assigned by the centre manager and/or Board of Directors.
