Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Kilkenny. This role will involve working with adults from 18 – 65+ years requiring low to medium support.
The successful candidate will provide assessment, intervention and proactive input into person-centred program planning, empower service users to advocate for themselves, and promote community participation and inclusion.

The ideal candidate will have a recognised qualification as a social worker, registration with CORU, and some postgraduate experience ideally within an intellectual disability service or working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
A full drivers licence and access to a car is essential due to travel involved.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide assessment, intervention and proactive input into person-centred program planning
* Empower service users to advocate for themselves
* Advocate on behalf of service users
* Provide support to and seek input from families and next of kin of service users
* Promote community participation and inclusion for service users
