Role Overview

The Assistant Project Manager supports the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. Working closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams, this role helps coordinate tasks, track progress, and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. It is ideal for organized, proactive professionals seeking to build a strong career in project management.

Key Responsibilities


• Support project planning activities, including timelines, milestones, and task coordination.


• Assist in monitoring project progress and preparing regular status reports.


• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, document discussions, and follow up on action items.


• Maintain accurate project documentation, schedules, and tracking tools.


• Support resource coordination and help track project costs and budgets.


• Communicate with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment on deliverables.


• Identify potential risks or issues and escalate them to the Project Manager as needed.


• Assist in ensuring project deliverables meet quality and compliance standards.


• Update project management systems with current progress and changes.


• Contribute to process improvements and support the adoption of best project management practices.

Qualifications and Requirements


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Basic knowledge of project management principles and workflows.


• Proficiency with office productivity tools; familiarity with project management software is a plus.


• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.


• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.


• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to meet deadlines consistently.


• Willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility.


• Good time-management and prioritization skills.


• Previous experience in project coordination, administration, or operations is an advantage but not required.
