Kitchen Porter
The award winning Cois na hAbhann Garden Centre in Camolin, Co Wexford are looking for an experienced Kitchen Porter to join our team in The Bay Tree Restaurant.
The successful candidate/candidates will be someone who is hardworking, reliable and who can work in a fast paced environment. Part-Time Position
The successful candidate must
* Be a fast learner with an interest in kitchen work
* Be Flexible in working hours. Weekend work is included.
* Have the ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
* A can do attitude and ability to work on own initiative
* Be capable of working as part of a team
* Have a willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
* The ability to stand for long hours
* Have good organizational skills
* Have patience and cool-headedness
Main duties & responsibilities
* Keep all kitchen work surfaces (counters, sinks, stoves, walls) clean and sanitized
* Wash cookware and utensils fast to keep them in rotation
* Arrange equipment and ingredient deliveries
* Keep the food and supply storage areas organized
* Take out the garbage
* Help with routine food prep tasks when needed
