Our client is a rapidly growing Constuction consultancy offering services to clients operating in the built environment sector. They are known for successfully delivering complex projects for both public and private clients across various sectors like higher education, life sciences, renewable energy, commercial, leisure, residential, and public realm projects.
Their Galway based PM team is expanding and they are currently recruiting a Project Manager. You'll work on exciting projects of varying size and scale, managing them through their entire lifecycle – from opportunity identification and definition to planning, design, consenting, execution, and satisfactory close-out. This role offers excellent opportunities for career development, allowing you to lead progressively larger and more complex projects as you gain experience.
Key responsibilities include managing all project stages, effectively communicating with diverse stakeholders, and administering processes for procuring Design Teams and contractors. You will coordinate day-to-day project activities, track performance and progress against milestones, and produce high-quality written reports, including Project Execution Plans, Project Progress Reports, and Feasibility Assessments.
To be successful, you must have excellent communication (written and verbal) and strong interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a team and take on leadership roles. A degree in a construction-related discipline (Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Landscape Design, or Construction Management) is essential. Ideally, you'll also have at least 2 years of post-graduation experience, preferably in construction-related professional services, and experience working with or managing a client design team.
