Field Engineer –12 Month Contract, On site, Dublin City CentreWhat's InvolvedProviding Level 1 ICT support to end users.Escalating technical issues to specialist teams where needed.Supporting hardware and software across PCs, laptops, tablets, printers, and smart devices.Travelling nationwide to deliver onsite support services.Maintaining professional, clear, and courteous communication at all times.Monitoring systems in real-time and resolving security or functionality alerts.What's NeededLevel 8 computing qualification or two recent professional IT certifications (e.g. CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, Alcatel, CISSP).Strong experience with IT environments: networking, Microsoft 365, servers (Windows/Linux), backups, and virtualisation (VMWare/Hyper-V).Hands-on skills with Active Directory (GPOs, security groups, health checks, auditing).Proven track record supporting end-user devices and acting as an escalation point for service desks.Fluent English (native or C2-level certified).Flexibility to travel nationwide (driving licence/transport/insurance as required).What's on offer:€220 per dayVantage Resources is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse working environment by recruiting people from different backgrounds and cultures.
