MY PHYSIO IN TALLAGHT

Receptionist required immediately to cover maternity leave for a very busy physiotherapy practice. This is an excellent opportunity to join our fantastic front-of-office team.

Previous experience working in a medical practice / GP practice is a definite advantage -

Ideally suited to someone with nursing experience.

16- 40 hours per week

Flexibility to cover holidays/sick leave is necessary.

Hours 8 am to 8 pm with 1 hour unpaid for lunch.

Holidays, sick pay, maternity leave and pensions as per statutory rights

Salary negotiable

* Excellent interpersonal skills including showing an awareness and sensitivity towards patient needs
* Excellent communication skills
* Professional telephone manner
* Works well within a team
* Good planning and organisational skills
* Ability to problem solve
* Shows attention to detail
* Flexibility to adapt to change in a busy environment
* Fluency in English is essential
* Familiarity with medical terminology would be an advantage
* Capability to handle confidential information with discretion

Experience:

* Previous Medical receptionist experience an advantage
* Must be proficient in email, MS Office, Word & Microsoft Excel
* Previous experience using Socrates software & PCRS would be an advantag

Key duties:

* Registering new patients
* Booking appointments for patients
* Ensuring smooth operation of front desk and waiting room
* Responding to patient queries by phone and email
* Sending patient letters and emails to correct departments
* Processing medical forms, medical results and maintaining accurate records
* Filing & scanning
* Processing PCRS claims
* Opening and closing surgery
* Seeking payment from patient including any outstanding fees
* Assisting in the preparation of Medicolegal & insurance reports
* Proactively follows up on any outstanding action items from previous meetings and seeks updates
* Ad-hoc tasks as required

Job Type: Full or part-time
