Job: Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Wexford, IrelandSalary Range: €40,000 – €43,000About the RoleWe are seeking a proactive Facilities Technician to join our team, responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility equipment and systems. You'll play a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothly, maintaining compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:Perform maintenance and repairs on Electrical systems, BMS, HVAC, Boiler Control, and emergency lighting.Carry out work on building services, including Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Systems, and Building Fabric.Diagnose and resolve issues with facility and process/manufacturing equipment.Complete general facility repair and day-to-day maintenance tasks.Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely maintenance and calibration.Ensure all on-site contractors comply with Health & Safety and GMP standards.Participate in project teams to drive improvements in manufacturing environments and processes.Support facility validations and area qualifications as required.Manage the CMMS system for all facility assets and instruments.Update calibration and preventative maintenance schedules for new and existing equipment.May support software validation for building management and process equipment controls.Undertake hands-on maintenance duties, both interior and exterior (e.g., cleaning, furniture moving, snow removal, landscaping).About You:Trade's Certificate or qualification in a technical discipline.Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and utility systems.Up to 2 years' experience in Electrical & HVAC facilities, with flexibility and a problem-solving mindset.Experience in fault finding and maintenance of facility equipment.Knowledge of Electrical, BMS, HVAC, Boiler systems, and emergency lighting.Experience with building services (Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Systems, Building Fabric).Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and excellent report writing abilities.PC literate; cleanroom experience is a plus but not essential.Ability to assess urgency and prioritise safety-critical vs. routine maintenance.Why Apply?Competitive salary and benefitsOpportunity to work in a dynamic, growth-focused environmentBe part of a collaborative team dedicated to continuous improvementJob Type: Full-timePay: €38,897.51-€43,889.14 per yearBenefits:Company pensionOn-site parkingSick payWork Location: In person
