Dietitian, Staff Grade WTE 1.0 The Royal Hospital Donnybrook (RHD) provides rehabilitation, residential and respite services to adults.
RHD is a teaching hospital for University College Dublin (UCD) with a strong culture of service development, research and practice education.
The hospital is a voluntary, charitableorganisation.
Staff Grade Dietitians contribute to the provision and development of Nutrition & Dietetic services to patients and residents across the hospital.
They work closely with Dietetic Colleaguesandmulti-disciplinaryteams to provide a holistic, person-centredserviceto patients and residents of RHD.
They contribute to quality improvement initiatives to continuously enhance services.
Reporting Relationship The post holder is professionally accountable and will report to the Speech and Language Therapist Manager Essentialcriteriafor a Staff Grade Dietitian in RHD: A professional dietetic qualificationrecognisedby the Department of Health.
Commencement of registration on the Dietitians register maintained by the Dietitians registration Board at CORU.
Relevantclinicalexperience for this post (specify on CV ifexperienceis placement),for example in care of older personsand/orrehabilitation.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Candidates must have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
