As part of our team, you'll enjoy a range of benefits, including:Flexible Working from Home ArrangementsRelaxed Dress CodeFree ParkingEmployee Assistance ProgrammeCompany-Matched Pension Scheme (after qualifying period)Life Assurance & Income Protection Cover (after qualifying period)Purpose of RoleThis role is responsible for performing accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions in multiple locations.Main Tasks and ResponsibilitiesCreate purchase ordersReview and verify purchase invoicesSort, code and match invoices to purchase orders and upload invoices into accounts systemSchedule and process payments to suppliers within agreed termsTrack expenses and process expense reportsGenerate and issue accurate customer invoices in line with company policiesMonitor accounts receivable ledger and follow up on overdue accountsPerform bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are recorded accuratelyMaintain customer/vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies promptlyProduce weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports as requested including regular aged payable/receivable reportsSupport month-end and year-end closing activitiesOther ad-hoc duties as requiredCandidate Experience/Education:Minimum 2+ years accounts payable, accounts receivable or general accounting experienceQualified Accounting Technician (ATI), or relevant degree/ equivalent experienceKnowledge of accounting software requiredExperience using an ERP system is advantageousKnowledge of general accounting proceduresProficient in data entry and managementMulti-Currency processing experience desired (GBP, Dollars)Must be eligibility to live and work in IrelandKey CompetenciesSelf-starter, driven by motivation and capable of working independentlyStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasksAct as a collaborative team playerPossess demonstratable attention to detail and accuracyAbility to meet regular deadlines on a weekly and monthly basisAbility to maintain confidentialityAbility to communication clearly, both orally and writtenGood computer skillsStrong critical thinking skillsJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €30,000.00-€40,000.00 per yearBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany pensionEmployee assistance programOn-site parkingWork from homeWork Location: Hybrid remote in Carrick-On-Shannon, CO.
