Why this Role is Valuable The Salesforce Developer plays a pivotal role in advancing our digital capabilities by designing and delivering scalable, high-performance solutions on the Salesforce platform.
This position is vital for ensuring smooth system operations and driving continuous improvement through robust CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps practices.
With a strong emphasis on system debugging and optimisation, the developer ensures our applications meet evolving business requirements while enhancing user experience and operational efficiency—ultimately supporting long-term business success.
Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract. Responsibilities Develop and maintain custom applicationsusing Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.Design scalable solutionsthat align with business requirements and Salesforce best practices.Integrate Salesforce with external systemsusing REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools.Collaborate with cross-functional teamsincluding admins, architects, and business analysts.Participate in release cycles, including sandbox testing, deployment, and post-release support.Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring high performance and reliability.Document technical specificationsand contribute to internal knowledge bases.Support administrative taskssuch as user management, data quality maintenance, and configuration of declarative tools like Flows and Process Builder.Leverage Salesforce Agentforce and AI toolsto build intelligent agents, automate workflows, and enhance user experiences through generative AI and prompt engineering.Key Requirements 3 years' experience in a Salesforce system administration /Salesforce Development role.Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and Azure DevOps practices.Experience with Salesforce APIsand integration tools.Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components.Understanding of data modelling, security models, and declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder).Salesforce developer certifications are highly advantageous.Working Together: Encourages co-operation in own team and ensures cross-functional working.Communicative: Communicates with impact, adapting style for different situations and people, to ensure all are heard and valued.Curiosity: Encourages others to learn and demonstrates the courage to lead creative initiatives.Expertise: For complex challenges or new areas, applies effective professional skills, analysis, problem solving, decision making, prioritising, planning and reviewing.CLOSING DATE: 7th August 2025 #LI-HYBRID
