 
        
        Key Responsibilities:
Conference Porter Duties:
 * Set up and break down meeting and event rooms (tables, chairs, staging, AV equipment, etc.) according to the function sheets and guest requirements.
 * Ensure cleanliness and presentation of meeting spaces before, during, and after events.
 * Liaise with event coordinators and the operations team to ensure room layouts are accurate and changes are managed efficiently.
 * Handle and store conference equipment safely and securely.
 * Serve food and beverages to guests during events, coffee breaks, lunches, and dinners in conference or banquet areas.
 * Assist in buffet setup, restocking, and breakdown.
 * Ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all service areas.
 * Clear tables and maintain the tidiness of function spaces throughout events.
 * Maintain stock levels of beverages and consumables for service.
General Duties:
 * Provide excellent customer service at all times, responding to guest needs promptly and professionally.
 * Follow all health and safety, fire safety, and hygiene regulations.
 * Work collaboratively with other departments (kitchen, housekeeping, reception).
 * Be flexible with working hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on business needs.
 * Report any maintenance issues or lost property to the appropriate department.
Skills & Experience:
 * Previous experience in a hotel or events environment preferred
 * Basic knowledge of AV/IT setup is an advantage but not essential.
 * Strong interpersonal skills.
 * Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and furniture.
 * Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
 * A team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
Working Conditions:
