Driver - Airport Catering Operations (Full-Time, Permanent)

The Role
You will be responsible for the delivery, loading and offloading of catering equipment and supplies at Dublin Airport. This is a customer-facing position in a secure, fast-paced environment where attention to detail and adherence to procedures are essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out vehicle checks at the start of each shift
* Load and offload catering items (with assistance) safely and on time
* Drive airside in line with training, road safety regulations and airport rules
* Ensure vehicles are security-checked, sealed and fully documented
* Load equipment according to set plans and company procedures
* Complete handovers and ensure documentation is signed correctly
* Return unused items to the unit and offload to relevant departments
* Use tachograph correctly for all journeys
Duties may vary depending on operational requirements.
Requirements
* Full Class C driving licence
* CPC card and digital tachograph card
* Minimum one year's driving experience
* Experience with rigid vehicles
* Comfortable driving both left- and right-hand drive vehicles
* Availability for a 24/7 shift rotation
* Ability to pass Garda vetting and a five-year background check
* Able to work independently and as part of a wider team
* Legal right to work full-time in Ireland
Experience & Certification
* Driving experience: 1 year preferred
* Class C licence, CPC card and tachograph card required
