Account Management Role Overview
The primary function of this position is to effectively manage customer accounts, ensuring timely payment and maintaining a healthy cash flow. This involves the oversight and tracking of customer accounts, identification of potential risks, and implementation of strategies to mitigate these risks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight of customer account management
* Timely follow-up on overdue payments through various channels
* Credit assessments and system checks as required
* Review and update customer credit limits and terms
* Negotiation of suitable payment arrangements where necessary
* Allocation of incoming payments and maintenance of accurate customer records
* Preparation of weekly aged debt reports highlighting potential risks to management
* Ad-hoc duties as required
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 3+ years experience in a similar role
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement
* Proficiency in Excel for reporting and analysis purposes
* Highly organized with attention to detail
* Proactive approach with excellent teamwork capabilities
