Merrion Fertility Clinic is Ireland's only not-for-profit fertility clinic with over 25 years of experience and excellent rates of success.
Located in Dublin city centre and closely associated with the National Maternity Hospital, our highly experienced consultants offer individualised care – with additional services, including reproductive surgery, pre-pregnancy genetics and pregnancy care.
We are currently recruiting for experienced fertility nurse with a passion for fertility and patient-centric care.

The Role
We are seeking an Experienced Fertility Nurse who is passionate about fertility and committed to providing exceptional patient care. This is a full-time, permanent position within a dynamic multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
You will be involved in all aspects of fertility care, including:
Theatre attendance for procedures such as:
Egg collection
Surgical sperm retrieval
Cyst aspiration
Intrauterine insemination
ERA testing
Abdominal scanning for embryo transfers
Patient care and clinical duties, including:
Nurse consultations
Transvaginal ultrasound scanning
Phlebotomy
Communicating with patients throughout treatment cycles
Full additional training, including upskilling or skills refreshing needed will be provided.
Essential Requirements
Registered Nurse or Midwife with NMBI (RGN or RM)
Minimum 2 years' experience in fertility nursing
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proactive, enthusiastic, and adaptable
Compassionate and committed to patient-centred care
Understanding of quality management systems in a clinical setting
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Desirable
Postgraduate qualifications in midwifery/ nursing, or fertility
Experience in pelvic ultrasound scanning
Counselling skills or experience with patients
The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, working to provide excellent patient centred care for couples in all aspects of fertility treatment.
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Core working hours are 8:00am – 4:00pm, with some flexibility required as start and finish times can vary. Weekend work will be required on a rotational basis.
