Hotel Reservations Coordinator
This is a luxury resort located in Co Carlow, Ireland that is seeking a Hotel Reservations Coordinator to join their team. As a key member of the reservations team, you will be responsible for managing room reservations for both individual and group bookings.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years' experience in a hotel front office/reservations role, with knowledge of Hotsoft being an advantage. They should possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, as well as being organized, efficient, and able to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
* Provide exceptional guest and customer service ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
* Monitor email traffic and ensure all reservations are accurately recorded and checked.
* Manage no-shows and cancelled reservations and process charges according to hotel policy.
* Collaborate with the Sales team to identify leads and convert them into confirmed bookings.
* Liaise with the Reservations Manager to maximize room revenue and assist with daily, weekly and monthly revenue reporting.
* Supply detailed information about hotel facilities and pricing to guests.
* Promote and upsell estate facilities and amenities.
* Manage group blocks, including cut-off dates, deposits, and contracts.
Requirements:
* At least two years' experience in a hotel front office/reservations role.
* Knowledge of Hotsoft (an advantage).
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Organized, efficient, and able to multitask effectively.
