Job Specification: Bus Drivers (x3)Location: WaterfordContract Type: Full -time / Part -time(including split shifts for school runs) Job Description:Our Client Is currently seeking threeprofessional and reliable Bus Drivers to join our transport team. The primaryresponsibilities include daily school runs and other scheduled passengertransport services. The ideal candidates will have a strong focus on safety, punctuality,and customer service. Key Responsibilities:· Safely operate a passenger buson designated routes, primarily for school transportation (morning andafternoon runs).· Ensure the safety and wellbeingof children and other passengers at all times.· Carry out daily vehicle checksand maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the bus.· Accurately operate and maintaintachograph records as required under EU and Irish law.· Adhere to driving time and restperiod regulations in accordance with EU Regulation 561/2006.· Liaise professionally withschool staff, parents, and other stakeholders as needed.· Report incidents, delays, orvehicle issues promptly to the transport manager. Essential Requirements:· Category D and D1 drivinglicence (required for operation of buses under Irish law).· Valid Driver Certificate ofProfessional Competence (CPC).· Clean and current tacho card(digital tachograph card).· Fully completed and clearedGarda Vetting, as required for working with minors.· Fluent English and goodcommunication skills.· Proven experience driving busesor coaches, preferably in a school or community setting.· Strong time management skillsand a professional attitude. Desirable:· First Aid certification.· Familiarity with the localarea/route.· Experience with special needstransport. Legal Compliance:All drivers must adhere strictly to thetachograph laws and driver working hours as per EU Regulation 561/2006 andIrish Road Transport Act.
