Category Manager/Client Delivery Manager
Shopper Intelligence is the largest global shopper study, providing expert insights for CPG suppliers and retailers in category management and joint planning. Our unique benchmarking system offers a Big Picture view of categories in the context of the Total Store. We help clients understand shopper behavior to address key business issues such as range reviews, promotional effectiveness and NPD development.
We are hiring again for 2025 as we expand our client base and grow the business in Ireland.
Role Summary
This role is primarily based working from home, with some time in our office in Terenure, Dublin (up to 1 day per week) and with travel to clients and retailer meetings (up to 3 meetings per week) across Ireland. The ideal candidate would have experience working in the Grocery/Retail/FMCG sector in Ireland, in roles relating to Key Account Management, Marketing, and in particular Category Management, Insights, etc. Being comfortable in a client-facing role is important.
Ideal Qualifications
* A Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Statistics, or a related field
* 3+ years of experience in category management, client delivery or data analytics in the consumer goods, market research, or retail industries
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and data interpretation skills
* Familiarity with shopper behavior data, market research, and analytics tools and techniques (familiarity working with Shopper Intelligence in particular a big plus!)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and clients at all levels
* Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
* Experience in managing client relationships, preferably in a B2B environment
