Corporate Governance Specialist
This role offers a wide range of experience and exposure to senior management and board level interaction. As a Corporate Governance Specialist, you will promote best practice in corporate governance, adhering to regulatory, statutory and market practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Company Secretary in delivering efficient company secretarial services to the Board, Board sub-committees, subsidiary companies and the Executive Team.
- Ensure that subsidiary entities and their Directors are aware of and compliant with applicable company law, corporate governance and other statutory and regulatory obligations.
- Minute take and manage action items from meetings.
- Prepare high-quality governance related papers for the Boards and Committees.
- Liaise with stakeholders to collate and distribute Board & Committee papers through Diligent.
- Support the preparation and organisation of Board and Committee meetings.
- Maintain corporate records and registers of Goodbody and its subsidiary companies.
- Respond to general company secretarial queries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Complete timely regulatory and statutory filings.
- Assist in ad-hoc corporate governance projects.

- Possesses strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence.
- Can work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities with tight deadlines.
- Has strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Is proactive and can drive initiatives along.
You Will Need to Show Us That You Have:
- A relevant third-level or ICSA qualification.
- Knowledge of Irish company law and the Companies Act, 2014.
- At least three years' experience within the company secretarial field or a similar position, ideally in a regulated financial services environment.
