Catering Assistant – Tipperary
We are currently recruiting a capable and dependable Catering Assistant to support catering operations across the Tipperary region. This position suits someone with previous food-service experience who can adapt quickly, work independently when required, and maintain high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operate tills and process customer payments accurately
2. Provide friendly, efficient service to customers
3. Prepare, set up, and maintain service and dining areas
4. Ensure all equipment and workspaces are kept clean, tidy, and hygienic
5. Adhere to all food safety, HACCP, and health & safety procedures
6. Take ownership of assigned duties to ensure service runs smoothly
Requirements
7. Previous experience in a catering or food-service environment
8. Confidence using tills and dealing with customers
9. Barista or coffee-making experience an advantage
10. Ability to work independently and use initiative
11. Good knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
12. HACCP and Manual Handling certification required (training can be facilitated)
13. Reliable, punctual, and professionally presented
14. Flexibility to take on temporary and short-term shifts
