Mechanical Engineer (Co.All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.Tipperary) We are recruiting for a prominent manufacturing and engineering firm in Co.Tipperary seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer.This role focuses on supporting site operations through the maintenance, design, and optimisation of mechanical plant and equipment.It is an ideal opportunity for an engineer with 24 years of experience to take on technical projects in a high-volume production environment.Core Responsibilities Asset Reliability: Oversee the preventative and predictive maintenance of mechanical assets, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, and conveyor systems.Project Support: Assist in the design and installation of mechanical equipment upgrades, from technical specification to final commissioning.Fault Diagnosis: Provide expert-level troubleshooting support to the maintenance team for complex mechanical failures and performance issues.Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance machine efficiency, reliability, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).Safety & Compliance: Ensure all mechanical work complies with current Health & Safety regulations and site-specific engineering standards.Candidate Profile & Compensation Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.24 years of experience in a mechanical engineering role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and technical manuals.Practical knowledge of fluid power (hydraulics/pneumatics) and mechanical power transmission.Proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and teamwork skills.Compensation Salary Range: €40,000 €50,000 per annum (Negotiable based on experience).Benefits: Contributory pension, generous holiday allowance, and professional development support.Location: Co.Tipperary, Ireland.
