Job Title: Construction Project Manager
My client, a well-established main contractor, is seeking a construction project manager for an educational build project in Wicklow. The role offers the chance to work on a large-scale project while developing skills in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting out works and ensuring foremen and operatives understand drawings and specifications.
* Communicate requirements clearly to subcontractors.
* Daily activities, progress, and site occurrences are recorded in the site diary.
* A report on subcontractor work progress is submitted to management.
* The safety of the workplace is ensured by conducting work safely and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
* Maintenance of setting out instruments and testing equipment ensures optimal efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
Built Environment Requirements:
1. Candidates must possess third-level qualifications in Engineering or related field of study
2. A minimum one-year experience working as either a setting out specialist or within the engineering sector would be beneficial but not mandatory
