Job Title: Healthcare Assistant
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at UPMC Aut Even Hospital.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and caring individual to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients, their families, and our staff.
* Maintain patient observation records and report any concerns to nursing staff.
* Assist with maintaining infection control policies and procedures.
* Manage stocks of linen, treatment room requirements, solutions, and office stationery as requested by the ward manager or deputy.
* Maintain the cleanliness and sterility of bedside equipment.
* Prepare beds and patient environments for post-operative patients.
* Escort patients to other departments as required.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A relevant Care Skills course to a minimum of a FETAC Level 5 or equivalent.
* Previous relevant work experience within a hospital or nursing home setting.
* The ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
