Your Role in Carbery's Success
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to drive the vision and execution of enhancements to Workday across modules such as Compensation, Benefits, Core HCM, Learning and Talent Acquisition.
Experience with at least one of these areas is required, and experience across multiple modules is a plus.
This role is both strategic and tactical: you will influence product direction while also driving end-to-end execution of projects that improve HR operations and the employee experience in Workday.
You will be a strategic partner for HR stakeholders and a champion for employee experience, using strong written and verbal communication to articulate product vision, goals, and decisions through effective storytelling.
How You Will Contribute
Own and translate HR business needs into clear, actionable requirements or well-structured user stories (Agile).
Ensure requirements are prioritised, traceable, and aligned to both business value and platform capabilities within Workday.
Act as a trusted advisor to HR and business stakeholders on Workday capabilities and best practices.
Balance global standardisation with business-specific needs in a multi-brand retail environment.
Facilitate workshops, clarify ambiguity, manage expectations, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
Enable data-driven decision making, automation and AI opportunities.
Lead or contribute to Workday-related projects and initiatives (HR and business-driven).
Manage evolving requirements with a clear understanding of downstream impacts to scope, timelines, and resources.
Proactively identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies before they become delivery blockers.
Contribute to project planning, sequencing, and dependency management.
Continuously improve how requirements, user stories, and product documentation are created and maintained.
