Electrician Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to maintain and repair electrical systems in hospitality establishments. This role requires on-call availability for evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical work, with experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in hotels, restaurants, and other hospitality facilities.
Main Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in hospitality establishments.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently to ensure continuous operations.
• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements:
• Qualified Electrician with relevant certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in industrial electrical work, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and automation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Experience with HVAC, kitchen equipment, lighting control systems, and backup power solutions is desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• A proactive and can-do attitude, with the ability to think quickly in high-pressure situations.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to health and safety regulations.
• Flexibility to work on a rotating on-call schedule, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
• Full, clean driving license is essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
