Vacancy NameFund Onboarding Manager Location(s)Dublin Employment TypePermanent DepartmentClient Operations DescriptionExciting new opportunity for a funds professional looking for a new role in our global Onboarding team in Carne Group.What are the minimum requirements you need for the role?5-7 years' experience working in a fund onboarding, fund implementation or CRM role in the funds industryFluency in English is essential, other languages advantageous i.e. French, German or MandarinProven project management skillsPrevious presentation experience essentialStrong experience with client and management interactionGood knowledge of UCITS and AIF fund structuresUnderstanding of management company structures is advantageousWhat is your role and your responsibilities?Ensure proper and adequate procedures are in place to ensure Funds are taken on in a timely and risk-controlled manner;Tailor project plans to the relevant Fund structure, maintain and track progress through the project plan;Ensure effective communication with all relevant internal functions in relation to onboarding, e.g., Legal, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Operations etc.;Ensure initial due diligence on delegates is performed and liaise with the Oversight team to complete in a timely manner;Present new client to the Approval Committee and Management Company board (where required) for approval and ensure any queries from the Committee are resolved to support final sign off from the committee and board.Coordinate weekly project calls with all parties, manage deliverables and ensure closure of action points;Involvement in the development and enhancement of the on-boarding processes.Be highly knowledgeable on the various Carne products and utilise cross selling opportunities during the onboarding process;Where relevant, co-ordinate Client on site visits to Carne during the onboarding phase;Coordinate operational implementation with delegates i.e., Administrator/ Depositary, Investment Manager and Distributor – ensure SLAs and processes are agreed before launch and signed off by relevant internal departments;Coordinate operational implementation within the Carne teams;Keep up to date with regulatory change impacting Fund / Management Company / AIFM structures and assist in the development of new procedures / processes where required;Ensure the global onboarding team are informed of any local regulatory change / change in internal process that could impact client onboardingParticipate in training of new team members (as required)What competencies do you require?Developing OthersMotivates and supports others to deliver results, contributing to the goal of optimising performance.Effective CommunicationCommunicates effectively, engaging with others in a warm and professional mannerPlanning and organisingOrganises and plans work effectively, ensuring delivery to quality and timescales in the short and longer termAnalytical (Attention to detail)Analyses and understands relevant and complex information and data to draw appropriate insights.Strategic Focus (Problem-Solving)Thinks strategically, thrives on innovation, considers the wider picture to identify new approaches to enhance business impactAdaptabilityAdapts approach and responds effectively to different situations, people and new opportunitiesResilienceWorks well managing competing priorities, bounces back quickly from setbacks in a positive and constructive mannerDrive and MotivationHighly motivated and driven, able to focus on what needs to be achieved and enthuses others to do this.QualityMotivated to produce accurate, quality, and timely work output.Client-centric focusMotivated by customer-facing environments, understanding their needs, and providing a good service.Learning MindsetCuriosity to learn and understand key factors, new techniques or technologies affecting their work.Who is Carne Group?Carne Group has established itself in the funds industry with $2tn in AUM supported by 600+ staff and four regulated management companies.
