Role Description:

The
Business Analyst (Financial Sector)
plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions within the financial industry. This position involves analyzing processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, risk management, and customer experience. The Business Analyst works closely with stakeholders across business, operations, and IT teams to translate requirements into actionable insights and deliverables.

Key responsibilities include gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements, developing process maps, and contributing to solution design. The
Business Analyst
will support project management activities, assist in testing and validation of systems, and provide recommendations based on data-driven insights. They will also monitor regulatory compliance and ensure alignment with industry standards, contributing to the development and optimization of financial products, services, and workflows.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and solution-focused, with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of the financial sector. They should be able to manage multiple priorities, work collaboratively across teams, and effectively present complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

* Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for financial projects and initiatives.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process improvements and operational efficiencies.
* Assist in the design, development, and implementation of financial systems and tools.
* Support testing, validation, and quality assurance of business and technical solutions.
* Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform business decisions and strategy.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
* Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to track performance and support decision-making.
* Facilitate communication between business, operations, and IT teams to ensure project alignment.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 2–5 years of experience as a business analyst or in a related role within the financial sector.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other business analysis or data tools.
* Knowledge of financial products, services, and regulatory frameworks.
* Experience with process mapping, requirement documentation, and project coordination.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
* Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
* Fluency in English required; additional languages are an advantage.
