As part of our continued growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for the addition of an Automatic Door Technician to join our busy Service Department.Key ResponsibilitiesThe repair, service and installation of door automation and access control systems to our many clients across the public and private sectorAttending to callouts as an when required and have a flexible approach to working hours / areaRecommending appropriate upgrades / repair work and advise the office of the requirementsEssential RequirementsFluent spoken and written English essential.3 years' previous experience as a Service Engineer / TechnicianWorking knowledge of various manufacturers automatic door productsAbility to repair, service and install to a high standardAbility to read and understand schematic diagrams and plans.Be Competent in Using Battery powered drills, Hand tools etcA basic understanding of access control equipment – training will be givenGood communication skills and ability to represent the company in a professional mannerHold a current or previously have held ADSA door safety accreditationHold current Safe pass and Manual Handling certsHold a current full clean driving licenseConsideration will be given to time served Electricians, Security Installation Engineers, Lift Engineers, etc – full training will be givenIf you think you would be suitable for this position please send your CV and covering letter to (email protected)
