Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

The role of the Financial Operations Specialist is to ensure the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. This involves managing monthly payroll, ensuring compliance with HMRC and pension regulations.

">

You will be responsible for processing invoices, coding entries, and preparing supplier payments. You will also handle staff and volunteer expenses, petty cash systems, bank and credit card reconciliations, and managing accruals.

">

This position requires strong skills in invoice posting, payroll processing, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage monthly payroll and ensure compliance with HMRC and pension regulations.

* Process invoices, coding entries, and prepare supplier payments.

* Handle staff and volunteer expenses, petty cash systems.

* Perform bank and credit card reconciliations and manage accruals.

* Support the preparation of budgets and management accounts.

Requirements:

We are seeking a candidate with a relevant financial qualification (e.g. AAT, IATI) and at least 2 years' experience in a finance role, or 5 years' experience in a similar finance function.
