Software Product Owner – Medical Devices (Limerick)
Our leading medical device client is seeking a
Software Product Owner
to join their team, driving the development of embedded systems and application software for life-changing healthcare solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as Agile Product Owner, defining product vision and prioritising backlogs.
* Develop and manage software requirements, epics, and user stories.
* Lead release planning, delivery expectations, and sprint execution.
* Ensure integration across software modules, maintaining quality and compliance.
* Collaborate with engineering, quality, regulatory, and customer-facing teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements:
* 6+ years in software development/testing (C++/C#) and integrated systems.
* 5+ years' experience across full software development lifecycle.
* 3+ years as Product Owner or in technical program/project management.
* Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (Azure DevOps, Jira).
* Proven ability to write and prioritise requirements in regulated environments.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
* Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
* Certified Product Owner (CSPO, PSPO).
* Experience with IEC 62304, ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820.
* Familiarity with CI/CD tools and build systems.
