We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage and maintain our coastal walk. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in outdoor facilities management and administration.
The successful candidate will oversee the development and maintenance of this high-profile initiative, working closely with stakeholders and partners to ensure its success.
This role involves managing, coordinating, and implementing the recommendations of the Coastal Walk Management Plan, including developing an operational plan covering maintenance, health and safety, trail monitoring, visitor management, signage, systems, communications, and stakeholder engagement.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate the implementation of the Coastal Walk Management Plan.
* Develop and implement operational plans for maintenance, health and safety, trail monitoring, visitor management, signage, systems, communications, and stakeholder engagement.
* Work in partnership with Clare County Council to implement the Coastal Walk Management Plan.
* Conduct project and financial administration, including record-keeping, reporting, and filing of all relevant documents and expenditures related to the coastal walk.
* Maintain records and report on financial matters, visitor numbers, health and safety, conservation efforts, and any unauthorised activity.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Experience in management and maintenance of outdoor facilities.
* Proven knowledge and experience in financial and project administration.
* Able to work effectively with multiple stakeholder organisations.
* Practical experience in trail monitoring and/or outdoor infrastructure maintenance.
* Familiarity with the Walks Scheme.
