We have an exciting opportunity for a Duty Manager to join our highly successful team here in Marlin Dublin.
Our Duty Manager will support our Front of House Manager in overseeing the daily operation of the hotel.
The ideal Duty Manager will work alongside senior management and team members, to ensure that the highest level of customer service is being delivered and the expectations of our guests are consistently exceeded.
Essential Experience
Prior experience as a Duty Manager or Front Office Supervisor in a fast paced environment
An understanding of hotel operations: housekeeping, F&B, M&E
Passion for hospitality
Proven experience of leading projects
Understanding the current market and an idea of our competitors
Proven experience in motivating a team
Clear communication skills, enabling you to effectively manage relationships cross departmentally
Excellent attention to detail
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the general day to day management of the front office
Supporting the FOHM with administrative tasks such rostering, payroll, invoicing and ordering
Establish strong, personable relationships with guests and team members
Handling and resolving problems in a timely fashion
Supporting with recruitment, retention and motivation of a large team
Ensuring communication remains transparent both with your team and with senior stakeholders
