If you take pride in maintaining a safe environment and enjoy being the "go-to" person for parents and staff, this is the role for you.ResponsibilitiesSite Security & Access Control: Serve as the primary 'gatekeeper' for the facility. Operate the secure entrance system, verify visitor identification, and ensure all District safety protocols are strictly followed during out-of-school hours.Student Accountability & Transitions: Manage the daily sign-in/sign-out process, maintain accurate attendance records, and coordinate the safe transfer of students to parents or authorized guardians.Front-Line Communication: Act as the first point of contact for the public. Greet families with a welcoming presence, answer multi-line phones, and accurately record or transfer vital information to staff.Operational Support: Monitor the building to maintain a safe and organized environment. Assist with site setup/cleanup and ensure that all program areas are ready for student use.Program Assistance: Provide secondary support to instructors by helping supervise students and assisting with classroom tasks to ensure a positive and engaging learning environment.Qualifications RequiredMust be at least 15 years of age.Must pass a background check.Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.Reliable transportation to the assigned work site.Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience with secure access systems or front-desk operations.Experience in safety-conscious environments.Experience interacting with diverse groups of children, adults, and families.Eligible Employee BenefitsESSTHoursWorking non-school days, evenings, weekend days, and evenings.Rate of Pay$11.40 - $15.00 per hour.This position will be filled on the basis of the experience, competency, and qualifications of the applicant and the needs of the District.
