Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity to design, manufacture, documentation, and improve equipment and tooling for the production of medical devices.
Key responsibilities
Investigation of new technologies, generation of concepts and participation in Proof-of-Concept projects to enable automation.
Work with team to understand current & future production challenges and develop solutions for both long term & short-term improvements
Generation of equipment designs which meet manufacturing, safety, CE and performance requirements.
Designs include new automated machines and modification/upgrades to same.
Designs include new tooling and fixtures.
Providing technical leadership on equipment related product and process issues.
May co-ordinate activities of a number of technicians/engineers.
Qualifications
Candidates are required to hold an Engineering Degree equivalent to or above NFQ Level 8.
Candidates must have a demonstrated track record in the design of equipment.
Experience of AutoCAD/SolidWorks, Pneumatics, Workshop Equipment, and Machine Building will be essential.
The person should have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a Equipment build role.
