OverviewSmall Animal Vet Waterford (Independent Practice) – A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a small animal vet to join a well-established, independent practice located in Waterford. This is a permanent, full-time position offering an excellent work-life balance and a friendly, supportive team environment.Working patternThe role is based on a 35-hour working week with a manageable rota that includes:3:1 in-house patients rotaEarly finishes: two days finishing at 4pm, two days at 6pmFridays: two out of three finish at 1pm, the third at 4pmSaturdays: one in three, 3-hour clinic from 10am–1pmThis rota is designed to ensure that vets enjoy two full weekends off out of every three, with early Friday finishes leading into uninterrupted weekends, returning Monday at 9am.Out-of-hours duties are light, typically involving only one or two calls per shift. Strong support is always available from the practice manager and a highly experienced senior vet with over 30 years in the profession.ResponsibilitiesConfident in routine surgeries including cat neuters, spays, dog neuters, and lumpectomiesQualificationsMinimum of one year experience in both clinical diagnostics and the surgical procedures mentioned.About the team & cultureThe team takes pride in its high standards of care, loyal client base, and positive working atmosphere.
