Patient Services Administrator – Grade III
* Clerical Officer Grade III
* 1.0WTE (37 hours)
* Indefinite Duration (permanent)
* Based in Wicklow Hospice
The post holder will be responsible for providing administrative and secretarial services to the Palliative Care Inpatient Ward and to provide cross cover for colleagues when necessary.
Essential Requirements
Qualifications:
* Leaving certificate or equivalent
* Secretarial or office management recognised qualification
Experience:
* Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office i.e. Word/Excel PowerPoint/Access/outlook.
* Minimum of 3 years relevant administration experience in office setting
* Database management and entry experience
* Customer service experience / managing public enquiries via telephone and face to face
Desirable Requirements
Qualifications:
* Medical Secretarial Diploma
Experience:
* An understanding of palliative and end-of-life care
* GP / Hospital admin experience
