What You'll Be Doing:
* Manage supplier relationships: across generic, parallel trade and brand equalisation categories, ensuring optimal commercial outcomes
* Supplier engagement: work with supplier to mitigate impact from shortages, ensure best price and margin is achieved and support monthly supplier reporting
* Analyse the market: understand market trends, pricing shifts and competitor activity and understand the customer base
* Commercial performance and analysis: use reporting and forecasting tools to support decision making and communicate commercial performance updates
* Stakeholder engagement: partner with retails teams, manage customer queries relating to supply and price and build and maintain strong cross functional relationships
What You'll Need to Succeed:
* Strong industry background: experience in retail, trading or buying within a commercial buying department
* Product Knowledge: knowledge of dispensary products or experience in a dispensary environment would be beneficial
* Commercial acumen: understands market dynamics and can translate into actionable insights
* Be an influencer: skilled in building supplier partnerships and negotiation
* Analytical thinker: comfortable interpreting and presenting data, identifying trends and presenting insights
* Organised and able to prioritise: able to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines
