Project Manager (Medical Devices)Location & Work Mode:Based in Galway, IrelandPermanent role with a hybrid work arrangementJob Purpose:The Project Manager will lead various projects, including:Product or technology development.Moderate-sized site transfers/acquisitions.Acting as a site representative for broader global projects.Key Responsibilities:Lead medium/large cross-functional teams.Manage technical challenges, risks, and solutions in technology application and product development.Develop, implement, and monitor project plans and budgets.Build team ownership and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.Follow applicable project roadmaps (e.g., NPI, product transfer).Represent Operations in phase reviews and ensure adherence to policies.Conduct business reviews and maintain project documentation (e.g., minutes, metrics).Skills & Requirements:Essential:Strong experience managing large, complex, cross-functional or multisite projects.Leadership in change and project management.Proficiency in MS Project or similar tools.Excellent communication, collaboration, and people management skills.Education:Level 8 Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Science, Software, or Manufacturing).5+ years of project management in Operations or New Product Development.Medical device experience preferred.Desirable:Level 9 Master’s degree or Project Management qualification.Additional Information:Travel to other sites may be required.
