We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research & Development Project Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical leadership and take ownership of critical tasks in new product development catheter projects.
* Liaise with key opinion leaders to understand disease states, gather user needs, and articulate throughout the team.
* Translate needs requirements into technical specifications.
* Foster a culture of creativity and generate innovative solutions to address unmet needs.
* Lead the team in developing test models, prototypes, and component assembly drawings/specifications.
* Identify and manage key technical risks and mitigations throughout the product lifecycle.
Program Management Responsibilities:
* Develop detailed project goals, plans, and budget.
* Identify critical project tasks, define project strategy, and set team priorities.
* Manage direct team and cross-functional collaboration to deliver on performance, time, and cost targets.
* Report progress across the organization.
* Leverage external resources to achieve project goals.
* Manage projects in accordance with quality systems and lead design reviews.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 8 years' experience in medical device industry with technical project leadership and prior catheter product development experience.
* Strong technical leadership capability and ability to manage technical teams.
* Strong catheter design, development, and technical ability based on fundamental engineering principles.
