Health & Safety Officer - Cork

Key Responsibilities
1. Identify, assess, and mitigate health & safety risks on site.
2. Provide advice and support on all H&S matters to management and staff.
3. Lead and assist with incident investigations, ensuring root causes are addressed and corrective actions implemented.
4. Monitor compliance with legislation, company policies, and regional H&S requirements.
5. Keep H&S procedures, policies, and risk assessments up to date.
6. Conduct regular inspections, audits, and reporting on H&S KPIs.
7. Deliver training and raise awareness of H&S at all levels of the organization.
8. Liaise with external stakeholders, including insurers and regulatory bodies, ensuring all reporting and licensing requirements are met.
9. Support and contribute to regional and group H&S strategies and initiatives.
What We're Looking For
10. Higher Diploma (Level 7/8) or Degree in a relevant discipline.
11. Chartered Member of IOSH (or equivalent).
12. Minimum 2 years' experience in a health & safety role, ideally in manufacturing or a similar environment.
13. Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
14. Confident delivering training to all levels of the organization.
15. Hands-on, resilient, and motivated approach.
