Office-based Monday-Thursday, with optional work-from-home on Fridays

About the Role
We're hiring an
Electrical Engineer
to join a growing multidisciplinary engineering team delivering high-quality industrial and manufacturing projects across Ireland.
You'll work alongside experienced engineers and project managers, taking ownership of design deliverables and supporting project execution from concept to commissioning.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong, detail-oriented engineer seeking stability, autonomy, and long-term career development within a respected Irish engineering consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop complete
electrical services packages
(LV & MV) in
AutoCAD
and
Revit
, under the guidance of the Principal Electrical Engineer.
* Prepare design deliverables including
specifications, cable calculations, schematics, wiring diagrams, loop sheets, and tender packs.
* Design and coordinate
MCCs, distribution boards, cable systems, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm, and security systems.
* Participate in
constructability and safety reviews
and provide input to ensure buildable, compliant, and cost-effective designs.
* Conduct
site visits
to survey, monitor, and review electrical installations as required.
* Support tender evaluations and peer reviews as part of the internal quality-control process.
* Attend and contribute to
client and internal design meetings
to ensure seamless project delivery.
About You
* Degree in
Electrical Engineering
(Level 8 or equivalent).
* 5+ years' experience
in electrical design within industrial or similar environments (data centre experience an advantage).
* Proficient in
AutoCAD
and
BIM/Revit
; familiarity with
Trimble (Amtech)
or
SKM PTW
is a strong advantage.
* Strong technical understanding of
MV/LV power distribution, generators, UPS systems, lighting, small power, earthing, and fire/safety systems.
* Knowledge of relevant
electrical codes, standards, and protection systems
(discrimination, short-circuit and arc-flash studies).
* Excellent written and spoken
English
-essential.
* Confident communicator with a professional, collaborative approach.
