Job Description

As a key member of our Global Division, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client service and ensuring the success of our commercial clients. This role involves managing a portfolio of global accounts, providing support to our claims team, and working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent service.


1. Manage a portfolio of global clients within a busy and proactive broking environment.
2. Manage clients' renewals from start to finish, assisting with mid-term alterations, dealing with general day-to-day client and carrier queries, and administrative duties pertaining to same.
3. Vet insurance and supporting documentation against defined requirements/standards on behalf of stakeholders.
4. Provide support to our designated claims team in the handling of insurance claims.
5. Provide assistance as required to colleagues across a range of general lines products.
6. Review policy wording.
7. Build strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and colleagues through the delivery of a market-leading service.
8. Secure and retain clients by providing an excellent service.
9. Assist the Global team and other Aon colleagues to continually deliver an excellent service.
10. Participate in campaigns and sales initiatives to target new clients.
11. Expand and share knowledge and capabilities.
12. Maintain the utmost standards of compliance and adherence to broking best-practice.
13. Align with all management audit requirements.

Skills and Experience that Will Lead to Success

* Ideal candidates will have strong relevant experience in the insurance broking sector.
* Compliance with minimum competency requirements laid down by the Central Bank, including but not limited to: being CIP qualified (minimum) and progressing to ACII (desirable).
* Meeting the Central Bank Fitness & Probity standards.
* Providing evidence of maintaining CPD hours (min 2 years).
* Having a desire to improve knowledge across a range of general insurance products.
* Ability to communicate effectively with clients, insurers, and colleagues.
* Excellent organizational and administrative skills with the ability to work to strict deadlines.
* Team player with the ability to work on own initiative.
* Ability to prioritize workload and deliver on objectives.
* Have a strong customer focus and a keen eye for detail.
* Proficient in Microsoft platforms i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
