SK9 are recruiting for an experiencedQuality Environment Health Safety Manager for a busy client located in West Dublin. Experience in the IrishConstruction Industryis a MUST-HAVE requirement for this post given the nature of the work where you will be required to hit the ground running.The QEHS Manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the company's health and safety policies, conducting risk assessments, managing occupational health, investigating accidents, and providing training on EHS protocols. The role also involves ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and promoting a safe working environment for all employees.The role will involve Health and Safety integration into the operation of the companies' activities, lots of site visits to complete audits on various sites nationwide as well as thedevelopment of policies and procedures to supplement existing Integrated Management System and the upkeep of company ISO certification. Another part of the role will be supporting and managing the development of Tender Submissions and Supplier Questionnaires so any prior experience of this type of work that has led to successful outcomes will also be advantageous.You should have experience in the preparation and review ofRisk Assessments, Design Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and Safety & Health plans.Project management of PSCS projects including Client management, coordination, and completion of projects on time within budget and scope will also be a key part of the proposed role as well as managing and developing the existing safety systems in place for carrying out works safely on site.The role is primarily based in Dublin, and it requires the candidate to visit sites around the country, so afull clean driving licence is essential.
